When you’re stressed out and worried about the details on the surface level of life (what Eckhart Tolle refers to as the Life Situation), you might find some solace in taking a few moments to close your eyes and visualize you in your ideal state of flow.
This could be the image of you playing the guitar, being uninterrupted. Painting a scene that requires a great deal of focus. In this visualization there are no worries about bills, relationships or the scratch you put in your car or bike this morning.
For the creative brain, this is the equivalent of visualizing a trip to Hawaii or living in some sort of palace. Simply yearning for a small pocket of time to work on the things that truly matter to you.
